South Dakota Family Connection - Keeping Families Together While They Are Apart. Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

How you can help

Family Connection receives no federal or state funding. We depend entirely on donations and grants to sustain our programs.

Your contributions of volunteered time, in-kind gifts or financial assistance are very much appreciated. We’d be happy to discuss giving opportunities with you; simply give us a call!

Volunteers

Hospitality Houses
Volunteers are needed for a variety of tasks, such as maintenance, lawn and landscape work, filing, computer work, and more. Please call us and we’ll find a volunteer task that’s right for you.

Children’s Connection
Volunteers are needed to assist with weekly support groups and family events. Support group volunteers assist the Support Group leader, who is a licensed mental health professional, to implement various group activities, including games, art, and cooking. A support group volunteer attends the same group each week throughout the school year. To volunteer, please complete and return the Volunteer Application and return it to the Family Connection office.

Donate

Donations are essential to Family Connection and Children’s Connection, as our funding comes entirely from grants, including the United Way, and from corporate and individual donors.

When you donate to Children’s Connection, you’re making our services possible – and that makes a tangible, important difference in families’ and children’s lives.

Please call us today at 605-357-0777 to learn more about opportunities for giving.
